The On-The-Go Booster Seat is one of the lightest, most compact seats available. Grasp the easy-pull valve and it inflates for you, and then easily adjusts up to 4" high. The adjustable safety belt with T-restraint helps hold your child securely when the booster is strapped to an adult-sized chair. When mealtime is over, just press out the air and fold the Booster Seat down -- it compacts to just 2 inches thick, so you can take it with you anywhere. Also features a built-in handle and a storage pocket for bibs and utensils.

I don't understand the negative reviews for the On-the-go booster seat...it is a great product. First of all, it fits just fine on any chair that has a back, so pretty much anything but a bar stool works. Really, I've used these seats (I have one for each kid) on scores of chairs world-wide, and they work just fine. They are very light-weight and portable, I keep them in the car for when we are visiting, and can easily fit the two in my suitcase (along with all our clothes for a week) while travelling. They wash just fine. They say "surface wash", but I've thrown mine in the washing machine plenty of times, and they come out just great (just disassemble, and then air dry).
Terrible product (2008-10-12)
Don't waste your money on this chair. The back strap only works properly if the chair back is super wide. It does NOT fit most regular chairs. Even if it does fit, my squirmy 13-month old can wiggle the straps loose, posing a risk of him falling out of the chair. Don't waste your money. I bought this only 1 month ago but I will not be using it again. Not that I've used it very many times anyway because most of the chairs that I've tried to use it on, it hasn't been able to strap properly. Again, don't waste your money on this chair.
Buy the Fisher Price travel seat. I have that one and it's sturdier, safer and fits on most chairs that I've tried it on.
Very Handy (2008-10-04)
I really loved this product. It is so portable and easy to take along. It is kind of hard to clean but after a while I started tossing it in the washing machine (take out the foam first). Another problem we had is that if you put it on a chair with no bar across the lower back it can slip back a little. We traveled almost a dozen times by the time my son was two and this was a life saver. We also used it at home as we never bothered getting a high chair so it was well worth the price.
Good Seat (2008-09-13)
I bought a more expensive chair, but I didn't realize that the legs on our kitchen chairs were so straight up and down (don't angle out). My sone is a wiggle worm and with so much structure to the seat the whole kitchen chair would move. I bought this one because it seemed light (and was way cheaper than the first one). It does the trick. Plus we have something that will be easy to take to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

So far it has worked great, but need to put a phone book under for our daughter to reach the table comfortably.
