With three sleep options (portable sleeper, bassinet, bedside sleeper); a play seat with vibrations, music, and sound effects; and changing table, this five-in-one bassinet is a boon for any parent of a newborn. The bassinet rocks or locks into place, and features a backrest that inclines to ease congestion (those tiny nostrils do get clogged up!), an air-flow sleep area, and a cotton/polyester sheet and bassinet cover. The portable sleeper allows busy parents to carry sleeping baby from room to room, folds easily for travel, adjusts for sleep or play, and includes a safety harness for security. The bedside sleeper is wonderful for exhausted mommies and daddies who want to feed and soothe their infant without getting out of bed. It attaches securely to the parental bed and has five height positions. The changing table provides a separate changing surface from sleep area. Handy pockets keep diapering supplies close by, and the easy-to-clean vinyl cover is a no-brainer. Music and nature sounds soothe baby, along with gentle vibrations and a soft-glow nightlight. Nice product once you get it working (2009-01-02)
After spending most of the day putting together this bassinet, here are some tips that we discovered:
- Recommend not waiting until the last minute to try to assemble. Ours arrived with one of the plastic release tabs broken.
- Our exchange item appeared fine at first but none of the handle options worked. Make sure that each of the four batteries properly align and contact with the metal pieces. After adjusting one of the metal contacts with a screw driver, the unit worked fine.
- There is a handle release button on each side of the bassinet underneath the cloth surface. When both are pushed at the same time, the handle can be lowered. It took all day for us to discover that, not sure why it is hidden and why it isn't pointed out in the manual.
- The large stickers on both sides of the handle were tough to remove. After painstakingly peeling and using goo gone, it now looks beautiful.
- Recommend ordering extra sheets from the manufacturer. You can send a request by mail and include $5 per sheet plus $2 per order for extra sheets.
Hope this helps! Can't give any opinions yet on the actual use since our due date is still a few weeks away.
Love this bassinet (2008-12-31)
I love this bassinet - it looks great in our bedroom next to the bed, it's easily accessible, and our baby loves sleeping in it. I did purchase a different oval mattress from babiesrus.com that is a bit thicker than the original one, but that was just my preference, the original mattress is ok.
I haven't used the changing table feature as I have a separate changing table. I haven't used the sounds or vibration much either, since the baby is only 11 days old, but they seem nice, volume/intensity is adjustable, and the vibration seems soothing.

I have never written a review before, but I must for this product. I absolutely loved it. It was perfect for our baby. The manual rocking was great for lulling her back to sleep as was the vibration. She enjoyed listening to the sounds, especially the heart beat helped to calm her. The only negative is that the height settings are a little difficult to adjust on it. But it was perfect in helping us get a little extra sleep and in helping us calm our baby through the "colic" time.
Co-Sleeping Dream! (2008-11-25)
Initally when the baby came home from the hospital, I used this product as a bassinet. However, after a few sleepless weeks, I placed the portable sleeper in the bed in between me and my husband. Since then, the baby has been sleeping like a champ!! It's so easy to check on him in the middle of the night. I don't know what I'd do without this product!

We bought this for our third child and I love the versatility and options. Everything was on the handle and portable - not on the base like many bassinets or portable cribs with bassinet. Other friends have borrowed it as well and loved it. I recommend it to many deciding between co-sleepers, bassinets.
