It took my son 3 months to fully appreciate this toy, but he really loves it ! He likes the crinkly parts and the colorful designs.
Cute toy (2008-07-10)
My Grandson Loves all the Lamaze animal toys. He has 6. The red color gets his attention. He like to grab the little roo from the pouch and grab the Sandy's nose.
Excellent choice for young grasping hands (2008-05-24)
My 5 1/2 month old daughter has enjoyed this toy since I first handed it to her at about 4 months. It has crinkly cellophane under all the non-red surfaces, so there is a quiet bit of noise there, and the rings on the tail make a gentle rattle. The best part, though, is that there are thick parts and thin parts, so there are plenty of good grab points, and the ears, nose, tail, and feet are all good (and apparently qualitatively different) spots for mouthing. The toy overall is a good size--not hard to find, but small enough for the average diaper bag. My only complaint is that I would like for the tether between the toy and the clip to be longer or stretchable. It is not as easy for my baby to manipulate when clipped to her stroller straps as I would like. Otherwise, highly recommended!
Good buy (2008-02-14)
My son loves this toy. He has a Pup squeak and a Mortimer moose as well, and although he likes both he reaches for the Sydney much more often. He may enjoy the Pup squeak when he gets a bit older and can make it bark on his own, however.
Sydney the Kangaroo by Lamaze (2007-10-29)
My son love's this kangaroo. I take it everywhere we go, including in the house. Sydney keeps my son entertained. I would recommend this product for anyone with a baby. I will be buying another as a present for my nephew!
